“Spa Music: Breath of the Rainforest” brings the emotive sounds of the rainforest, along with calming yet uplifting music, into the home. The music soundscape blends soothing natural rainforest atmospheres, tropical birdsong, rain, wind, and flowing waters.

All tracks were inspired by the composer spending quiet, meditative time in very special rainforest areas of the world, including Australia, Asia, and North America. The music incorporates traditional Asian instruments such as the bamboo flute and Balinese gamelan, along with bamboo and metallic wind chimes that ring out in natural musical patterns. Wind and rustling palms, leaves and giant forest trees along with rain, mist, and flowing water fill this album with a restful, soothing, and evocative ambience.

About the composer… Shantha Sri (Sri Shanthi Bhavana) is a Zen Buddhist yogi and healing music artist who is dedicated to creating specially designed music soundscapes that resonate with the subtle energy centres of the mind and body.

He draws from the inspirations of Ayurveda, Dharma, and nature to create music that brings peace and tranquillity to the listener. Using various world instruments to produce resonant tonal frequencies and sparse cycling melodies, Shantha Sri’s music assists listeners in finding peace within themselves and oneness with the universe by stimulating the mind toward higher states of conscious mindfulness and concentration.
