Music designed by Yogi Shantha Sri (Sri Shanthi Bhavana) especially for Yoga practice, using authentic Indian and Asian sounds and instruments.
“Music for Yoga” will fit naturally with any yoga practice. Warm-up music is followed by moderately paced music to suit flowing sequences, followed by tracks especially created for breathing exercises and finally, deep meditation.
The music structure of the “Music for Yoga” series is carefully designed around traditional Indian Ayurvedic principles that use specific keys, notes, sounds, rhythms and frequencies to promote correct Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing), and Samatha/Bhavana (relaxation and meditation) techniques. Sri Shanthi Bhavana also makes use of other Asian sound influences, such as Chinese and Tibetan sounds, as these can aid in healing, health rejuvenation and overall wellness.
